Following the wave of Mod Fashion which began around
1964, there was an interlude just prior to the 1970's
Boho Glam / Hippy Fashion. This occurred around
late 1968 and nudged its way silently into the unsuspecting
tail end of the mod era. It manifested into a de
facto marriage of mod and boho. It was short-lived,
and died unnoticeably around 1970, when the Hippy
Flower Power fashion took hold and swept the last
remnants of mod fashion under the proverbial rug.
So... there is a tiny interlude of Vintage Wear
which I often list as "LATE 1968 to EARLY 1970".

| 1960s-1970s Chiffon Delight |
|
This romantic and feminine gown is of unknown
vintage. Designed in the 1930's style, but
probably made in the 60's or 70's. Flowing
chiffon overlay of caffé macchiato
colour, with a mandarine-coloured underlay,
to create a caramel effect. Good enough
to eat! Designed by Camille Lee.
